Barbara is an experienced qualitative and quantitative researcher and has undertaken projects for clients in package goods, e.g. Heinz, Unilever, P&G, Burger King, Pepsi, and Kraft;  financial  services, e.g. American Express, MasterCard, and Nationwide Building Society; and pharmaceuticals, e.g. Pfizer and Bayer. In Ireland Barbara has worked with An Post, Bord Bia, Organon, Pepsi, SuperValu, and the Open University among others.

Barbara is very keen on self-improvement. Her first degree is in marketing from the DIT College of Marketing and while in New York she completed a number of media courses at NYU. She speaks pretty good French, is learning to play le tennis, and recently finished a course in Sustainable Development with ECO-UNESCO.

Vicki worked at a number of companies as a qualitative researcher before becoming a managing partner at RDSI, a full service market research company based in central London.  In a career of more than 20 years she has tackled a wide range of issues across numerous markets, from brand strategy and NPD studies to communication research and market analysis. In recent years her projects have covered the health and beauty, publishing, finance, alcohol, beverages, food, confectionery, telecommunications, and retail sectors.

Vicki has been an independent since 2002 and is based in London. She believes that one of the delights of working independently is the opportunity to team up with other very senior people, working as independents or for small companies. These collaborations, which come together around client problems not outdated organisational structures, can deliver an extraordinary level of insight and service to clients.

He began his career working at Saatchi & Saatchi Design in London. Following that, he went on to get a 1st Class Honors Degree in Media & Design in Portsmouth University. On graduating in 1995, he emigrated to Ireland where he breifly worked for Design Works and Dynamo before forming the Irish wing of the multi-media company The Light Surgeons (which he founded with Chris Allen while at college). During that time he worked with various forms of digital video, film and photography for large-scale projection, mainly for the music, art, booze and fashion industries. These installations provided visual accompaniment for artists such as DJ Shadow, David Bowie. Commercial clients included Guinness, Smirnoff, Emporio Armani, Mtv Music Awards.

Once the Celtic Tiger had grown to obnoxious proportions, he decided it was time to leave! He left Dublin for the wilds of county Sligo to form Judo Design. From a comfortable distance he sat in the forest, pipe in hand, with his two Jack Russells by his side, and watched the country implode. After a brief deviation into teaching photography to Fine Art Degree Students at the Institute of Technology, Sligo, he returned full time to graphic design. Paul is also a PHECC registered Emergency Medical Practitioner (EMT) with the Red Cross and coordinates a local Cardic Response Group with the HSE Ambulance Service.

Roddy started his career at advertising agency CDP, reaching the parts that other beers couldn’t reach for Heineken. He then moved on to Schlackman Research, where he worked with industry luminaries Wendy Gordon and Bill Schlackman. In 1985, after a few years at another stellar advertising agency, BMP, he founded his own research company, SRG, which after 8 highly successful years he sold to Pearson.

Roddy now works as an independent qualitative researcher, consultant and educator. He has worked in many different sectors; recent clients include Shredded Wheat, EasyJet, World Vision, Magners, Werthers, Linwoods, Skandia, and Guardian Media Group.

Roddy is a Fellow of the Market Research Society and an Honorary Fellow of the IPA. He is not a Chelsea supporter, and believes that the activity of praying is more valuable than the certainty that God exists, particularly on Tuesdays.

From 1997-2004 Patricia worked as a strategy associate of Brand Architecture International in Ireland. From 1994-1997 she was Media Account Planning Director, Vice President at advertising company Lowe & Partners, New York.

She is a recognised pioneer of Media Account Planning in the US, using qualitative insights to help media be truly engaging. She took an early interest in the possibilities of digital media and was one of the first researchers in America to conduct online focus groups. From 1986 to 1992 Patricia was Media Planning Director of Lowe Howard-Spink Advertising in London.

Patricia’s clients have included Sony, Citibank, Coca-Cola, Sprite, United Distillers, The Mail on Sunday, Iona Technologies, Smirnoff, General Motors, Heineken, The Sunday Times, Pepsi and Mercedes. She has a Business and Marketing degree from Aston University.
